Storm damage in Morro Bay
The pouring of rainwater through a hole in the roof caused by a tree limb was extremely damaging to this home in Morro Bay. This corner of a wing of the house suffering some non-salvageable storm damage. Structurally, the framing was still sturdy, though we did reinforce several trusses in the attic and placed a tarp over the opening to keep out more rain. Our fast 24/7 response mitigated further water damage much to the satisfaction of the homeowner. We demolished the sheetrock and trim and then proceeded to dry out the area. We removed and replaced some batten isolation and then sprayed antimicrobial agents to sanitize the area. Next step was reconstructing the doorway to the original splendor!
